Ahhhh So excited!! This month was my first months subscription to GlossyBox. Unfortunately I had to cancel my subscription because I'm planning to go to London, England this August and I'm not actually employed. So I'm trying to save as much money as possible. Anywho.. I got my Glossybox subscription on April 2nd and I definitely thought it would've come alot sooner. Although it took forever it was worth the wait! It felt pretty heavy when I first picked it up, so that's always a good sign. The packaging is just so cute I don't want to ruin any of it, or even throw it out... hahah. NOTW! Colour Splash.

Hey guys so I thought that my current nails are good enough for a NOTW! I seen this somewhere and I was like 'Whoa, that's a really good Idea!!"


My base colour I just used black.
I got this at ardene's for like 2 for $5

The splashes of colour are actually eyeshadow. The only loose eyeshadows I have are boring colours, so I just took some crappy pressed shadows I have from a kit and scraped some out. I put my three different colours; Pink, Green, and Blue into a little tray on top of a tissue.

You just do one nail at a time after you've already put your base down. Then just grab some powder and sprinkle it on to your nail. I eventually started to kind of press it on my nails a bit cause the shadow was sticking to my fingers. Like so:

After you're finished just use any topcoat, I'm letting it sit for a bit before I put the topcoat on because I don't want it to ruin my nails.

Ello!

Sooo, I haven't posted anything in while because I'm waiting for some things to come in the mail. I've been waiting for my April Glossy Box to come which clearly is taking it's sweet time. I was hoping to do an un-boxing post for that. Also I'm still waiting on my purple leggings I ordered from Romwe.com.
So hopefully those get to me soon so I can show all of you :)

It's been ugly here in my city these last few days, cold and rainy! I can't really complain though because we didn't actually have much of a cold winter. Friday was super nice though! Hung out at the beach with my bestfriends and even managed to get a bit of a tan on my arms! haha
Anyway, I'm off to the orthodontist today :( can't wait til my braces come off! My appointment is in an hour and a half and I haven't begun to get ready plus I have to walk there in the rain. So I should probably hop to it..

My New Purse.

Hey guys so I just want to do a quick post about the cute new purse I got yesterday. Every year there's a big Guess warehouse sale in Toronto where you can buy Guess wallets, purses, clothes, shoes, sunglasses and other random stuff for pretty cheap! Last year I left with a cute white wallet. This year I didn't actually end up going but my best friend Amanda went and picked up this cute messenger/satchel.

It's the perfect size bag for me. I used to always carry around huge bags that fit my whole life in them, but it kills my back and shoulders so recently I've been using smaller bags, but now they're too small to fit everything I actually need! This is a happy medium. It's a greyish, beigey brown. With pinky-brown buckles.

It was originally  $89.99 but she picked it up for $40.00 so it was more than half off, awesome deal! :)

I really love the lining of the purse, I almost wish that the outside of the purse was the way the inside is. Also I think the purse kind of looks like a monster with the two snaps and the pocket in the front! ahaha

The inside of the purse has three slots I use for my Cellphone, Keys and my Tim Hortons Roll Up free donut things ;) There is one large pocket on the inside. This purse actually fits my wallet unlike my last purse that I had to struggle to get it in and out of.. Lot's of room in this one, I love love love it :D

E.L.F

Hey guys so I was orginally going to do this post last Friday but I ended up going to Ottawa to visit my Grandpa so I've had to put it off until now. Which I guess is a good thing cause that's given me time to try out everything and get an opinion on it all!

I ordered 17 items from E.L.F (eyeslipsface.com) on March 26th and I recieved them on April 5th I believe, so it got to me super fast.

I ordered four brushes; The Blush Brush, The Stipple Brush, Kabuki Face Brush, and The Smudge Brush.

I really do like all three brushes. I've heard other people say that the stipple brush sheds alot, but I haven't found it to be shedding any. The Kabuki brush works well in my opinion and it is sooo soft! I just like to rub it on my face. hahaha!

I haven't used the smudge brush yet but it's just a brush with tiny brissles so I'm sure it'll work just as good as any smudge brush. The Eyelid primer I got is in Golden, I can't remember if I chose that or if that's all there was TO choose from. They aren't kidding with the name! haha it is very golden and really shiny. 

Lipstick in Nostalgic $1.00

Nail Polish in Mint Cream $2.00

So I really like this lipstick it goes on pretty well, it smells reall good too. I've never really had a lipstick that smelt yummy! It goes on kind of like lipbalm with the texture but it is still pigmented. This picture makes the lipstick look a tad pinker than what it is, but so did the picture on their website. When I first put it on I was a little skeptical because it kinda looked like I had just put my coverup on my lips and then used a pink chapstick. But I later feel in love with the colour.

I really love my nail polishes that I got. I didn't take a picture of the Berry Pink one because it's on my toes and I figured y'all wouldn't want to look at a picture of my feet.. It goes on really well for a $2.00 nail polish. It dried fairly fast and The reason I bought this colour is because it reminded me of the Essie one that looks just like this.

When I ordered my things I got a deal that if I spent $20.00 I got ten free $1.00 Items which is why I have so many things for a dollar :)
I would also like to say that 1, I'm sorry this post is so long! and 2, I did swatch all my things but my camera just isn't capturing it right so maybe I'll post a picture of the swatches at a different time. :)

Shopping Addiction...

So I've come to the conclusion that I pretty much have an internet shopping addiction!
For some odd reason I think it's so much fun to recieve things in the mail and then get to open it all up, even though you already know what it is.. haha Don't get me wrong, I love shopping outside of the interweb aswell, It's just not as fun!

Etsy.com is one of my favourite websites to buy things from because the majority of it is vintage or handmade, and I really like that aspect of it. As a bonus if you search well enough, you'll find lot's of amazing things for super cheap.

Some of my recent online purchases include a big order from E.L.F. I think I ordered like 20 different items and I wish that their shipping to Canada didn't take so long because I really want to get my stuff already! I've never used any products from E.L.F so I'm excited to try it all out. Another purchase I've made recently along the lines of cosmetics/beauty is a subscription to GlossyBox. If you've never heard of Glossybox It's basically just a box filled with 5 beauty samples that you recieve every month for $15.00. My first box will be the April box which is I think the 3rd or 4th box to be sent out in Canada.
And lastly today I was surfing through Romwe.com looking for some cute stuff but keeping in mind that I didn't have a lot of money to spend! There were three things that I wanted soo bad but only ended up getting one, which were these awesome purple leggings:

I absolutely love them, I hope the turn out true to the picture! Anyway halfway through writing this blog my E.L.F package actually came hahaha weird!! It didn't take very long either, they told me 2-4 weeks and I ordered it on March 27 so It came pretty fast. This blog has now taken me about an hour to write because I had to stop and inspect all my new goodies :)  Maybe tomorrow I'll do a blog on all the stuff I got!
